Book Fair

YAY! The book fair (a.k.a. Barnes and Noble) has taken up a section of our media center at school. Books, books and more books await purchase. I definitely will be buying several books myself. Best of all, a percentage of the sales comes directly back to my school. I'm pretty sure that occurs whenever we buy from Barnes and Noble, not just at its book fair, if we mention where we go to school. I have a pretty hefty list of books I want to get. Mmm, books; food for the mind!

Nothing......

Have you ever tried to imagine nothing? What I mean by nothing is the absence of all things, NOTHING. I can hardly manage it. It's a very hard thing to imagine, obviously. For me, my mind seems to shy away from the thought, like it can't handle it. Yeah, a weird thing to consider, this 'nothing'. Try it for yourself; can you imagine it?

SNOW!

IT SNOWED TODAY! Just seeing the fluffy white flakes drifting to the ground made my day so much better. My parents and others who can actually drive claim that I won't like snow when I have to drive through it. I disagree with them, but I won't know until I can drive on my own to find out if they're right.
SNOW, SNOW, come and play, please stay here another day!

Busy, Busy

I have been pretty busy these last few days, with a migrane and a half on top of it all. Currently, I'm working on a rough draft for my research and expo class about why the U.S. spends so much on defense. I'm really interested in the government, so the research I will be doing will be fairly engaging!

The Election

Wasn't this election an awesome one? YAY for Obama! He got, like, 369 electoral votes (or something close), which is OUTRAGEOUS! This election is a start of a new era, and I will see the official swearing in of it at the inauguration this January. How awesome is that? I hope that he does a great job as president, it would be a shame if he didn't do as good of a job as we, and he most likely, expects of him.

Weekends

I truly LOVE weekends, don't you? They serve as a break between one week and the next. You can spend them with friends, by yourself, with family, it's all up to you! Well, I spent yesterday evening with a friend at the Movie Tavern in my area. We watched Eagle Eye, and boy was it awesome! I'm not very good in giving reviews without giving things away, so just take my word for it; You should go see it!
Today, I've been working on cleaning and organizing my disaster of a room. Thankfully, I have made great progress and I hope things will be mostly done by the end of tomorrow. Trust me, my room needs the work! :)

Wow.......

Wow, I have not even looked at this blog for a LONG TIME! Well, I'm back, and I plan on trying to keep this blog updated. I ponder a lot, so there will be plenty to blog about from day to day.
